WeekArc is a personal health and progress tracking app for people using GLP-1 medications. It is developed and operated by the WeekArc team. For anything in this policy, contact us at support@weekarc.com.
Everything you record in WeekArc — injection log entries, weight and body measurements, meals, water, daily check-ins and symptoms, progress photos, reminders and settings — is stored in a local database on your device. WeekArc has no user accounts and operates no backend server for your health data; we cannot see, access or recover your records.
Your health record, progress photos and generated reports are deliberately excluded from device and iCloud backups. The trade-off is honest: if you lose your phone, records that did not come from Apple Health do not come back by themselves — which is why the app offers a user-initiated, password-encrypted export you keep wherever you choose.
If you connect Apple Health, WeekArc reads the categories you approve (such as weight, body composition, water, nutrition, steps, heart rate) and can write the entries you record (such as water, nutrition and weight). These permissions are managed by iOS, type by type, and can be changed at any time in the Apple Health app. Apple Health data is used inside the app and is never transmitted to us.
Arcy is off until you explicitly turn it on. When Arcy writes — the daily summary or a chat reply — the numbers you see on the Today screen (weight, body values, water, protein, steps, resting heart rate, and your recorded schedule dates) and the messages you type to Arcy are sent to OpenAI, our AI provider, to generate the text. Your name is never sent; neither is your medication's name. The provider processes this data to provide the service and does not use it to train its models. You can turn Arcy off at any time in Profile — while it is off, nothing is sent.
If you scan a food barcode, only the barcode number is sent to Open Food Facts (openfoodfacts.org) to look up the product — nothing about you or your records goes with it.
Backups, CSV/PDF exports and share cards are created on your device and go only where you send them.
Your records exist only on your device, so you are in full control: you can delete individual entries or erase everything from Profile → Privacy & Data (two-step confirmation; cannot be undone). Deleting the app deletes its local database. Data you wrote to Apple Health is managed in the Apple Health app.
WeekArc is intended for adults using GLP-1 medications under the care of a healthcare provider. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly process children's data.
weekarc.com is a static informational site. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and collects no personal data. If you email us, we use your address only to reply.
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date. Material changes that affect what leaves your device will also be shown in the app before they apply to you.
